We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our free tools. This statement explains, in plain English, what we collect and what you can ask us to do about it. Our privacy policy gives the longer detail and our cookies policy covers cookies specifically.
If you send a project brief, book a call or email us, we collect what you give us — usually your name, email address, organisation and a description of what you need. We use it to reply and to run the resulting conversation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch, and we cannot answer without it.
The readiness assessment, ROI calculator and use-case finder work without an account. You can complete them and read your result without telling us who you are. Results are saved to an account only if you choose to sign in and save them. Figures you type into the calculators are used to produce your result.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It is off until you consent, and nothing loads if you decline. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. The lawful basis is consent.
Enquiries and project correspondence: for the duration of the conversation and for up to six years afterwards, which covers the limitation period for contract claims and our statutory accounting obligations. Analytics: for the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Saved tool results: until you delete them or ask us to.
We do not sell personal data. We share it with the service providers who run parts of our operation for us — hosting, email, analytics, scheduling and payment processing — and only so they can provide that service to us. We disclose data to others where the law requires it.
Some of our providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the safeguards those transfers require, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis.
