Ready to run today

A farm from the air, with everything in it found.

Drone footage of a farm or estate becomes a 3D record: everything found in the footage pinned with its photo, land use and crop health as maps, and areas with their accuracy.

Buy Commercial

One developer. Ask about team pricing if there are several of you.

Same download either way. Which licence you bought is on your receipt, and you can upgrade later by paying the difference.

Want more than one? There are 4 of these: the apartment viewer, construction progress, the asset twin, and farm and land. All four together are £129 Personal (saves £67) or £399 Commercial (saves £197) against buying them one at a time. All prices include VAT.

What is in the box.

Six things, and the fourth is the one people are surprised by.

  • The full viewer source. TypeScript, built on three.js and Spark. Branded "Your Company" out of the box, yours to change.
  • A working sample site. The demo exactly as it runs, with its 3D, so you have something that works before you change a line.
  • Your own 3D and data. One site.json drives the whole thing, with a schema guide and an edit mode for placing things by clicking.
  • Four guides. README to run it in five minutes, GUIDE-FINDINGS for your own register, GUIDE-3D for making or buying a scene, DEPLOY for hosting it.
  • The tests. 2 test files, 10 tests, running against the logic rather than the pixels. Run them yourself before you trust any of it.
  • A plain licence. Personal or Commercial, paid once, no subscription and no royalty on what you build.

Before you buy, the honest bits.

The things worth knowing while your money is still in your pocket.

What it doesSwitch on Land use and Crop vigour, click a pin for its photo out of the footage, and open the Register to download the report and the CSV.
What you needNode.js 20 or newer, and somewhere to host static files. No server, no database, no account.
The sample 3DA Gaussian splat, made by us from royalty-free footage, and part of what you buy. Use it in your own sites under your licence, the same as the code. The original footage is not included and is not licensed to you, only the 3D made from it. The names and figures in the sample are invented.
What it is notThis is the viewer, not the pipeline. Turning footage into a 3D scene is a service we run on our own hardware, and it is not in the box.

Questions.

What Unity version do I need?

Everything targets 2022.3 LTS and is tested there. Most of it opens in newer versions without changes, and anything that does not is noted on the template itself.

Built in or URP?

URP where the template draws something, and pipeline agnostic where it does not. Each card says which. There is no HDRP version today.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once and the files are yours, including future updates to what you bought.

How do I get the files?

Straight after payment, as a download link that does not expire. There is no account to create.

Can I see the code before buying?

Each template has a preview and a full contents list. If you want to see a specific file before deciding, ask and we will send it.

What if it is not what I expected?

Tell us within 30 days and we refund it. You do not have to justify it and we do not ask you to delete anything first.

I bought the book. How do I use my code?

The code is printed in the book. Enter it at checkout and the bundle price drops. It works once per customer.

Who makes these

Eleven years of Unity, most of it inside other people's infrastructure.

These come out of production work, not out of a tutorial. They are the pieces that got rebuilt on project after project until it was obvious they should be written once and written properly.

Simam Digital is a one person studio in Wakefield building XR, real time 3D and AI software. If you want the detail of where the experience comes from, including which work was the studio's and which was the founder's before it, the about page sets it out plainly.

Where the experience comes from

  • Sky. Unity XR prototypes for Sky Glass and Meta Quest, Premier League and Formula 1 concepts. I worked there directly.
  • Vodafone, through One City Global. Innovation prototypes and Quest training applications.
  • Unilever, Mondelez and others, while I was at N2O, as programmer and then lead programmer. The Ben and Jerry's in-store prize game won a POPAI Gold Award in 2017 and the Felix VR 360 video won an FMBE Gold Award. My part was the prototypes and the VR advice.
  • A2RL, with Focal Point VR, who held the client relationship. The project won Best Innovation Project at the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2024. The award was the project's, not mine and not Simam Digital's.

This is my own employment and contract history from before Simam Digital, on work belonging to the agencies and employers I did it through. None of them is a Simam Digital client, none of them has seen these templates, and none of them endorses them. Where an agency or studio held the relationship, it is named above. The full history, including the parts that are Simam Digital's own client work, is on the about page.

There are no customer quotes on this page because these templates have not been sold yet. When there are real ones they will go here, with names attached.
